The Venue Vixens

Spring Ranch is one of the most incredible venues we have visited to date. Located one mile south of the quaint village of Mendocino, this is a historic property dating back to the late 1800s. The barns and Victorian house are on the Spring Ranch Agricultural Preserve, which is comprised of large eucalyptus forests and organic farms of vegetable and flowers, and immediately across famous Highway 1 on the Spring Ranch Coastal Preserve. If you’re looking to hold your wedding on the bluffs of the Pacific Ocean, with views “for days”, then this property is for you. Photo ops are abundant with Mendocino in the background, coastal landscape, and the awesome old barns along the walk from the Ranch to the ocean bluffs ceremony site. Another ceremony option right on property is the amazing Eucalyptus Grove. Let’s break down the spaces to be enjoyed at Spring Ranch:

The Wedding Barn – Believe it or not, originally it was an 1840’s hay barn that the Spring Ranch owner found in Canada, saved from demolition and moved in sections to re-assemble at Spring Ranch. It is gorgeous! A tasteful collection of antiques collected from around the world are perfectly displayed with interest and placement. Large chandeliers glow in this handsome original wood interior, with its brick floors, all to create a warm, rich and romantic dining room. The second floor of the barn, is referred to somewhat as a museum. So many interesting antiques to poke around and study… the men love this floor and it can be used as a perfect “man cave.” A bar serving scotch, ports or craft beers is a great addition.
