Architecture

Spring Ranch has been meticulously renovated using antique salvage collected from around the world. The owner Derek Webb wants his guests to enjoy the prolific natural beauty of the California coast combined with the man-made beauty of things collected from around the world.

The property celebrates a bygone era when things were crafted for functional necessity but also with high design. A time when people built things for both permanence and beauty. He has incorporated those things that will never again be built in our current disposable world.

The antique materials come from: New York City, Montreal, Buenos Aires, London, Paris as well as many smaller historic communities. Most of the salvage items have provenance.

Derek wants his guests to experience the design and craftmanship of a bygone ethos. He wants you to feel the soul of the old world.
